51 years later … the journey continues! The 50th Anniversary Erie CROP Walk was a record-breaking year raising an amazing $134,000. COTC also set a record raising just over $19,000. This will be a tough act to follow, but the need to help those in need is as great as ever. In addition to fighting hunger, CROP funds also provide assistance in disasters like the recent droughts, wildfires, and flash flooding experienced here and around the world.
Please plan to join our COTC team as a Walker and/or Sponsor as we raise money to battle hunger & disaster around the globe and right here in the Erie area on Sunday, September 27th. Sponsor sheets and other pertinent information are available at COTC on Sundays before and after worship. 2026 Erie CROP Walk shirts (once again beautifully designed by our MJ Dillon!) will also be available to order until September 6th. Children who walk with their family will receive a free shirt again this year.
Registration: 1 pm
Walk Send-Off: 2 pm

HERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE 2026 CROP WALK:
*CAN COTC CONTINUE TO LEAD THE ERIE WALK? (Wayside has been nipping at our heels and had 70 walkers last year.)
*CAN THE ERIE WALK CONTINUE TO BE RANKED #1 IN PA. AND AMONG THE “CREAM OF THE CROP” IN THE NATION (#5 LAST YEAR)?
*WHO WILL STEP UP AND VOLUNTEER TO BE OUR CROP TEAM CAPTAIN(S) NEXT YEAR? (See Pastor Drew or John & Karen for more info or if you are interested.)
*AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, WILL WE CONTINUE TO “BE THE GOOD” AND FOLLOW JESUS’ COMMAND TO FEED THE HUNGRY?
